I know BabyPlays is a great gift, because I got it for myself a few months ago. If you've got a kid in your life, you are probably drowning in plastic. And how frustrating is it when you spend $30, $40, $50 on a toy and your kid says "Meh"?
Here's how it works:
-- Put a bunch of toys in your wish list
-- They mail you anywhere from four to ten of your top picks
-- Play with them for 30 days, or longer
-- Throw them back in the box they came in and slap on the included, pre-paid FedEx label
-- Drop it off with FedEx
-- Your next box of toys appears on your doorstep a few days later
So simple. The toys are lead tested and every one we've gotten has arrived squeaky clean. And when my son loses interest we just send them back and get a whole new set.
And when we really fall in love with a toy (Hi Bibbo!) they'll sell it to me at a discount.
There are various plans for different needs and budgets.
Subscriptions aside, I'm sure I'll wind up buying a few keepers this year for my littlest friends. But before I do I'm going to carefully read the 10 Most Dangerous Toys List from the Keenan Kids Foundation so I can make the best possible choices.
