Chelsea over at Design Happens is writing about duvets.
It got me thinking that it might be time for a refresh. My wine on wine tone duvet looked gorgeous against our old bedroom's pale gold walls. But in our new house our room is a chalky blue.
I'm thinking maybe the Kiku linens from Crate & Barrel. The vines look black in the photo, but they're actually dark blue.

I also like the border design from Williams-Sonoma Home, but I think it's probably better saved for summer. Everyone has seasonal bedding, right? I can't think of any better way to welcome a change in the weather than breaking out fresh linens.

I also love this Ruovikko Seaglass print from Crate & Barrel, but it doesn't match my room. Too bad.

I've been feeling a little stress about the number of people we're going to have with us for Thanksgiving. They're all much loved, but every warm body is raising my blood pressure. Having some beautiful things on hand for serving will help soothe me. So today I think I need a new glass decanter.
The Williams-Sonoma Riedel Amadeo decanter is elegant and delicate. Each one is hand crafted and is 24% lead crystal.

More affordable is the captain's decanter from Uncommon Goods. This one is more robust and cheerful.

I'm not sure I love the Jillery decanter from Wrapables, but I appreciate a little whimsy with my wine.

My favorite is the Sagaform Wine Decanter with Oak Stopper. The addition of a small bit of pretty wood adds a nice counterpoint to the glass.
