The LVL support beams have all been installed; the old walls are gone. Wow! Now we're making progress. My friend Tim Doyle, who lives across the street, took these photos with his wide angle lens.

This is the view from the kitchen area looking toward the front door (it is behind the staircase). The lighter plywood on the floor is where the old bathroom used to be. The blue tape on the floor is where the island will be. The glass doors to the right take you into our living room.

This is the opposite view, showing where the kitchen will be. Previously a wall divided this space. Again, the blue tape on the floor shows where the new island will sit.
