Checking Out the Goods
When my wife found out I was going to the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference in Chicago April 21-23, she wanted me to check out new faucets for our kitchen and bath. Why? I wondered. The ones we have still work.
That's not the attitude that the fine exhibitors at KBIS are looking for in a customer. So to please them, and my wife, I will spend some time examining the many plumbing fixture options for my house.
But I'm really going to KBIS to review it for you, HGTVPro.com readers. And while I will not scout out faucets for your bathroom, I will try to check out seminars, exhibitors, and new products you would want to see if you were there.
Go to www.kbis.com and take a look at the seminar schedule and exhibitor list. Then come back to this site and make a comment to this blog entry telling me what you might like me to check out for you. I will be there Friday April 21 through Sunday April 23.
Regretfully, I can't guarantee that I will honor every request. But if you are interested in, say, the Friday seminar "Advanced Lighting and Design: Functionality and Aesthetics for Lighting in the Kitchen and Bathroom," and I can work it out, I'll attend, write up a report, and post it here.

I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel and I'd be very interested in kitchen/peninsula lighting ideas.
Thank you, and I'll be checking back.

I would like to learn about this presentation: Flawless Execution Model
As owner of a kitchen/bath/design-build company one of our greatest challenges is communicating and executing a production plan- the concept of relating it to a combat mission is very interesting. We want to do less combat and more smooth sailing.

I would be very interested in knowing more about nanotechnology in the kitchen and bath.

I am an interior designer(not a kitchen designer) and would be very interested in the seminar on advanced lighting to be knowledgeable when my clients ask "what's new in lighting?"

VERY interested in kitchen lighting. Especially how to work in an after-remodeling pendant system over the peninsula. Didn't put enough lighting in when we had it done. My fault!!
